All rentals are subject to terms and conditions as mentioned in the rental agreement.

General Terms and Conditions

• Car rental bookings should be made 24 hours prior to travel.
• INR rates are applicable to all resident Indians.
• Dollar rates are applicable to foreign nationals and NRIs settling their bills directly even if hosted by an Indian individual or an establishment.
• Car rental will be charged with the car rental office as the start and end point.
• A fraction of an hour will be charged as one hour.
• A fraction of a kilometer will be charged as one kilometer.
• Interstate taxes, permit fees, parking fees, toll taxes, etc. are to be paid by the customer on actuals.
• Car rental tariffs are subject to change without prior notice.
• Carzonrent liability is limited to refund of the amount of rental charged against the particular transaction.
• All cars are comprehensively insured including 3rd party cover. Claims if any will be settled as per existing laws in India by the concerned insurance company.

Cancellation Charges for reservation

• Cancellations 24 hours prior to pick up will attract cancellation charges equivalent to 25% of the gross price.
• Cancellation 6 hours prior to pick up will attract cancellation charges equivalent to the full amount for one day.

Chauffeur Drive- Local Use

• If extra hours are logged, the next package rate with extra hours and kilometers will be charged as applicable.
• A daily night halt charge (between INR 150 and INR 500 depending on the model of car) will be payable if the car rental package timings have been completed and the car has been retained beyond 24:00 hours.
• Driver charges are applicable if the car travels beyond city / corporation limits.

Chauffeur Drive-Outstation Use

• Minimum billing of 225 km per calendar day applicable. Rate per km will be charged as mentioned in the extra km column.
• Driver charges (between INR 200 and INR 500) are payable on a daily basis.
• All inter-state permits, fees, taxes, etc., will be charged on actuals.
• In hilly areas, charges per kilometer & driver's charges will be 50% extra.

Self Drive

• Any adjustment or changes to the reservation may result in a change in rate.
• Online rates and terms will not apply and cannot be used in conjunction with any local promotions, corporate, walk-in or contracted tour/travel rates. Promotional rates booked online are subject to certain additional terms and conditions as stated against that promotion.
• The Hirer of the car should be at least 23 years of age with a credit card and a valid driving license. The Company does not guarantee make or model against any reservation. Should the specific car group/make/model not be available at the point of pick-up, the Company reserves the right to offer an alternate make/model within the same group.
• This booking confirmation advise will stand cancelled if the Hirer fails to pick-up their reserved vehicle at the designated time on the booking.
• Unlimited kilometers is provided.
• Driving is on the left side of the road.
• Reservations booked online will not be eligible for Frequent flyer miles/points.
• All optional coverage and charges such as Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), traffic-parking or driving fines, Petrol and Re-fuling charges, Road-Tolls, Taxes, Airport Parking, One-Way Drop Charge, Baby Seats, Delivery and Collection charges will be extra.
• Vehicle must be returned with full tank or a re-fueling charge will apply.

Reservations: All Self-Drive reservations must be made at least 24-hours in advance. A reservation will be guranteed on giving a valid credit card number at the time of booking along with valid identification proof. Copies of Identification document will be required prior to delivery of the vehicle. The company does not gurantee any specific make/ model. In the event of non-availibility, the company reserves the right to substitute with a similar vehicle.

Minimum Age: The Hirer of the vehicle must be at least 23 years of age with a valid driving license and credit card in their own name.

Driving License: The Hirer should have a valid driving license in India or an International Driving permit. An Indian driving license should be atleast three years old without any endorsements. An International Driving permit will be verified in conjunction with the original International license. A copy of the license is to be provided on commencement of the rental.

Additional Driver: An additional driver fee of INR 100/- will apply. The additional driver's name must be endorsed on the agreement on commencement of rental and must meet age, license and identification requirements.

Credit Card: The Hirer must have a valid credit card in their own name. Master/VISA/American Express credit cards are accepted. On commencement of rental, a blank signed credit card imprint will be taken. All charges pertaning to the rental including extra days, optional items, delivery and collection, one-way rates, tolls, damage and repair costs if any, driving, parking or traffic fines, taxes etc. will be charged to the credit card.

Security Deposit: On commencement of rental, a pre-authorization will be processed on the credit card equal to the rental charges and the security deposit amount as indicated on the rental contract. On return of vehicle, the final amount will be charged to the credit card and excess deposit released.

Mileage: Rates include unlimited mileage. The Hirer is expected to inform the Rental location prior to any outstation trip.

Insurance: All vehicles are comprehensively insured under a motor car insurance policy.

Collision Damage Waiver: Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is optional and when availed and listed on the rental agreement reduces the financial liability for loss or damage to the rented vehicle to 50% of the security deposit amount provided the vehicle is used in accordance with the terms and conditions of the rental agreement.

Accident or Damage Charges: In the event of any accident or damage to the vehicle, or theft, the Hirer should inform our nearest office and is required to obtain a First Information Report from the nearest police station at their own cost. In such case, the Hirer's liability will reduce to the extent of the security deposit amount as listed on the rental contract provided the vehicle is driven in conformity with the terms and conditions of the rental agreement.

Monthly Rentals: All monthly rental charges will be charged in advance and non-refundable. In the event a vehicle is used for more than a month, the extra days will be charged pro-rata at the monthly price.

Late Return: Rentals are based on 24-hour basis. A late return in excess of 4 hours will be charged as one extra day rent.

Delivery and Collection: Available within city limits at INR 300/- one way.

Fuel Policy: A vehicle will delivered with a full tank. If returned without a full tank, a re-fueling surcharge of 10% will apply.

One Way Rental: A one way rental will available on request at an additional cost.

Replacement Vehicle: In the event of any breakdown, a replacement vehicle will be provided within 50km's of our nearest rental location.

Additional Costs: Any parking, traffic or driving violation and fine including a 10% surcharge on such amount, road-tolls, all applicable taxes, VAT@12.5% will be charged extra. Any increase in tax or the incidence of new taxes will be charged directly in addition to the rental charges.

Payment Terms

• Advance payment will be made to Carzonrent India Pvt.Ltd. for the car rental unless there is a written contract and the credit terms have been approved by the company in writing. Credit terms can be reviewed by the company at any time at its sole discretion. In some cases the customer may be requested to pay the service provider directly.
