A Graduate from Delhi University and Masters in Management Studies from Mumbai University, Karunesh started his career with SRF Finance in the deposit mobilization division. A year later when Ford launched in India he moved to its captive car finance company Ford Credit, a JV between Ford and Kotak Mahindra.
In a span of nine years he has gained extensive experience in sales, marketing and risk management functions. Moving up the ranks fast he worked at both area and regional levels and in his last assignment as National Sales and Operations Manager managed a high quality and profitable portfolio while retaining market leadership for the captive model.
As Chief Operating Officer of the Operating Lease and Fleet Management division, Karunesh leads the team and is responsible for strategizing, planning, directing and growing this segment of the business and expanding its reach to all key cities in India.
